How do you compare to BMC Subsystem Optimizer?

While we are both focused on cost reduction, we’re solving different problems of what drives mainframe costs.

We are focused on dynamically redirecting batch workloads in real time, so they can be processed in lower cost locations (such as other LPARs or CPUs, or in the cloud). This helps reduce mainframe costs through license consolidation, MSU/MLC reduction, and in other ways like labor costs.

BMC Subsystem Optimizer is focused on removing restrictions on where and how specific subsystems can reside and interact (DB2, IMS, and CICS), so they can be consolidated and run more efficiently, reducing MSUs, MLC, and cost.
