In the closing session at 4:00 PM EST, VirtualZ Founder and CEO Jeanne Glass will share how enterprises can move IBM Z data, access it live in place, and extend mainframe storage to the cloud — all out-of-the-box — for AI, analytics, and beyond, with no application changes, no custom code, and no production disruption. The session introduces the four no-code products in the VirtualZ portfolio:
- PropelZ — Move it. No-code data movement between mainframe and non-mainframe systems — any input, any output, in any direction. Read and write VSAM, DB2, tape, sequential data, S3, Azure, GCP, NFS, SMB, and SFTP. Proven at 56,000 records per second, mainframe to cloud.
- FlowZ — Store it in the cloud. z/OS writes directly to Amazon S3, Azure Blob, or Google Cloud Storage as if it were a local device. Durable, low-cost, off-site storage for backup, archive, and tape replacement — no software in the cloud, no custom code.
- Lozen — Access it live in place. Real-time, read-write access to mainframe data with no moving and no copying. Use live VSAM, QSAM, and DB2 data directly from AI models, analytics platforms, BI tools, and hybrid-cloud apps, while z/OS stays the single source of truth.
- Zaac — Run it as native storage. Cloud and SAN appear as standard z/OS volumes and tape devices, so every application runs unchanged.
