Account Executive

We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team as an Account Executive, working with our world-class team to drive revenue growth for VirtualZ.  In this role, you will actively engage with potential clients, nurture leads, and convert them into customers. The primary focus of this role is to generate sales opportunities through outbound calling, email communication, and other digital channels. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization, while exceeding customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential leads and prospects within the target market. Use various tools and databases to gather relevant information about the leads.
  • Outbound Communication: Initiate contact with leads through phone calls, emails, and other digital communication methods. Tailor communication to address the specific needs and pain points of each lead.
  • Qualification: Engage in conversations with leads to determine their level of interest and their potential as a customer. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services. Articulate the value proposition and benefits to leads in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with leads by actively listening to their needs, addressing their questions, and providing relevant information.
  • Consultative Selling: Adopt a consultative approach to selling by understanding the challenges and goals of the leads. Provide solutions that align with their needs.
  • Product Demonstrations: Drive qualified leads to virtual product demonstrations to showcase how the company’s offerings can address their specific needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Keep accurate records of interactions and progress with leads using Salesforce.com and other related software. Regularly update the pipeline status and prioritize leads based on potential.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provide feedback on the quality of leads generated through marketing activities.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance selling skills and performance.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, progress, and challenges to sales management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value of a product or service and address customer needs.
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn, Salesforce.com, Pardot, ZoomInfo and other sales tools.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and a dynamic sales and start-up environment.
  • Basic understanding of the industry and market trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
